This morning I found out that not only can’t I receive email, I can’t send email either.

So if you were waiting for a response from me, it’s probably in my “sent” box, but you’ve never received it.

Email problem again

Okay…now the email problem is…I can’t access email from home, only from my computer in school. This is a school (maybe county)-wide problem, I’m told. Perhaps something to do with an upgrade–hopefully it will be finished soon. So please feel free to continue to send all you want (and you know who you are!), I just can’t respond until the morning…

Bring textbooks to class by Mon 6/11

It’s that time…

…even for those students who had trouble bringing their textbook to class throught the year–please bring your text by Monday, 6/11, so that I can get an accurate count and compile the “Lost/Damaged” list. I am aware that several ( okay, more than several) books were in less-than-mint condition. I’ve re-glued a few book covers myself…so don’t worry too much about damage. The book number should match the number that I recorded at the beginning of the year.

Crossword mixup

My apologies to B1 class–I accidentally left the wrong crossword puzzle for Mr. Strand, my sub yesterday.

Several of you caught it, and let me know immediatley–thank you for that.

The CORRECT crossword puzzle–East/Southeast Asia will be distributed tomorrow and you will have some time to work on it in class.

End of Quarter assessment Study Guide will be worked on tomorrow as well. Please look it over and come prepared with any questions.

The last email I received was at 7:49 pm, Wed., 5/16. I’m sorry if you’ve emailed and I haven’t responded, but there is something wrong with my computer and email.

My laptop computer got a bad case of the “frozen-blank-gray-screen” disease, and is currently being treated for such (resting comfortably as of last night, I hear!).

My email is frozen as well, “no send, no receive”. Good news is that you may respond to my blog–including the extra credit question. I’ve gotten all of those responses. Chris D., I got your answer–I added the — —.

Until my email situation gets resolved, I suppose phone calls, notes, and dropping by C-3 will be the best options.

Of course cards and letters are always appreciated, but I know no one has any 2 cent stamps, right…?

This week we are taking a look at four major Chinese dynasties: Shang, Qin, Zhou, and Han.
Students in all classes are completing a group work activity examining the the achievements of these dynasties and presenting their findings to the class.
